HaiCo 2019 Scholarship Awards

We were overwhelmed by the number and quality of the responses from students who applied for one of the five one thousand dollar scholarships. We at HaiCo, are proud to provide support to these students.

The decision was very difficult, we received a significant amount of scholarships. Twenty (10) complete applications were received.

Award recipients in no particular order:

  • Kennedy Jones – Skidegate – Human Kinetics at the University of BC

  • Isaac Hill – Skidegate – Starting Bachelor of Commerce At UBC Saunder School of Business

  • Michaela McGuire – Skidegate – Masters of Criminology at Simon Fraser University

  • Kayla Davis – Old Massett – Kinesiology Diploma at Langara College

  • Joel Richardson – Skidegate – Indigenous Studies at Vancouver Island University

To all the students who applied, we wish you all the best in your future endeavours and academic pursuits. We encourage you to apply for the 2020 HaiCo Scholarship which will be posted in May 2020.
