HaiCo Organizational Restructuring

Dear Xaayda Laas;
In recent weeks, HaiCo has taken action to ensure that our organizational structure is properly aligned with the expectations of the shareholder. As well, we are ensuring that our structure supports the ongoing health of our companies. We are realigning and downsizing our management structure to set us up for a better future.

We appreciate the commitment and service of those employees whose positions were eliminated and wish them all the best in their next endeavours. We also appreciate the commitment and dedication of our remaining employees who will be the key to our future successes.

These changes are in the best interests of HaiCo, its subsidiary companies, and our Shareholders, and are being made with the future of HaiCo and the economy of Haida Gwaii uppermost in our mind. HaiCo is holding a Community dinner in Skidegate on July 8th and Old Massett on July 9th, when the newly appointed Chair and CEO will happily provide information and answer questions.
